A small harbor has been made below the lighthouse at the initiative of the museum and local boat owners. Over 20 vessels can be docked here in summer. The slip is one of the few available in the vicinity. Also at berth here is the museum's pride and joy: the Viking ship Aimar, which was built on site and launched in 2010. The site is an historic shipbuilding square that was once crucial to the village of Käsmu. Built here were the Toudar (1890/1892), Polaris (1899), Edmund (1900), and Adina (1901).
